XBOX Lens DVD Drive Replacement & Refurbishing Service (Any Model) This is a very common problem amongst XBOX Systems. To properly diagnose this problem please see the specifics below:
XBOX Drive Issues:A message comes up saying "Your Xbox can't recognize this disc. Make sure it's an
Xbox game, DVD movie, or audio CD. Also check to see if the disc is dirty or damaged.
Remove the disc to continue." = Disc reading problem
When you put a disc in, NOTHING HAPPENS. You just have the main menu as if
there's no disc at all in the tray. Sometimes this happens intermittently and
sometimes with just one type of media. It may play audio CD's but not games or DVD
movies. = Disc reading problem
Games or movies are slow to load, freeze up, skip, or just stop playing halfway
through for no apparent reason. = Disc reading problem.
New games won't play but old ones do. = Disc reading problem.
A message comes up saying "Your Xbox requires service. Please call Xbox customer
support." AND there's the number 10, 11, or 12 in the top left hand corner and
foreign languages underneath. = DVD circuit board problem.
Eject tray doesn't operate smoothly, may not open or close without help, may make
grinding or rattling noises. = Tray mechanism problem
All of these symptoms point to there being a problem with the DVD drive part of your Xbox.
The DVD drive is a self-contained metal box that holds the tray you put the disc in, the gears
that move the tray, the laser that reads the discs, the circuit board, and the mechanical parts
that run it all. Different things can go wrong with a DVD drive but far and away the most
common problem is that the laser will give out. They get old and wear out, simply from being
used, and there's nothing anyone can do to stop this from happening. It's the only part of an
Xbox that has a naturally occurring limited lifespan. If this resembles your problem our service includes:Full Analysis of the ProblemReplacement with a new XBOX DVD DriveReconstruction of the XBOX UnitFull Bench Test on Multiple Games & MoviesCourtesy Cleaning of the Motheboard & Internal ComponentsFixed Unit Sent Back to you Postage Paid with Extended VGC 60 Day Warranty
