Canon's LV-7230 is a great addition to our line-up of bright projectors. At 2000ANSI lumens, the LV-7230 is bright enough for a classroom or office with high levels of ambient light, or for conference room/boardroom presentations in front of a large audience. No matter where you use it, you can be confident the LV-7230 has the power to perform.
The LV-7230's native XGA (1024 X 768) resolution, is the perfect resolution match for your laptop computer. (It also supports SXGA resolution (1280 X 1024) through high-quality scaling.) In addition to this performance, the LV-7230 boasts a 380:1 contrast ratio for sharp images & deep, rich colors - even withambient light.
It also features 85% image uniformity for an even image from corner-to-corner. You also get a steady, film-like image from digital TV & high-end DVD players, as the projector's Progressive Scan circuitry converts 480i/575i signals to Progressive. Of course, none of this advanced technology would matter without the LV-7230's Genuine Canon Optics.
LV-7230 offers both power & portability. Even with 2000 ANSI lumen brilliance, this projector still weighs in at only 6.4 lbs. So, no matter where you need its power, you can take the LV-7230 there without getting tired.
The more sources of images you have, the more you need a single projector that can handle those sources. The LV-7230 covers all the bases, through compatibility & connectivity with HDTV, VGA (RGB Analog), Component, S-Video & Composite signals. Whether it's the latest educational broadcast or the latest presentation from your laptop, the LV-7230 is all the projector you need.
The LV-7230 comes with 1.6X Ultra-Wide Zoom lens - a Canon Genuine Optics lens, so you know the optical quality is outstanding. It's the only lens you'll need because the ultra-wide focal length range lets you use the projector in cramped quarters & still get a 100"(diag.) screen with a short 8.2' throw. The zoom gives you the ability to project a screen from 40 to 300"(diag.) size. You're covered for a wide range of room sizes & projection distances.
Use the Digital Keystone Correction to compensate for projecting at a vertical angle of up to 20 deg. Then, if you want to ensure your audience isn't distracted by fan noise, switch the projector from Normal Mode (38.5dB) to whisper-quiet Silent Mode (34dB). In a classroom without a projection screen, simply use the Greenboard Mode to project onto a chalkboard, it adjusts the projected image to maximize legibility & image quality. Then, effortlessly operate your LV-7230 with the help of the Wireless IR Remote Control.
When you're finished, use the Pin Code Lock and Function Key Lock to control the use of your projector. You can also use the LV-7230 for rear-projection; you can even mount it on the ceiling with an optional adapter. Also makes your life easier with: Customizable logo display, Audio speaker, 3-year parts & labor warranty, lamp life 120 day warranty.
